Term 3, Week 6

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to week 6.

Terrible weekend for footy and sport in general. The ashes went horribly and the eagles shot themselves in the footy. In another horrific news the Dockers finished their season with an awful performance in Adelaide.

Champion Life:
This week’s Champion Life Champion of the week is Ruby Eastaugh who create multiple videos through the first few week of us subscribing to the service. Well done Ruby!!!!

Father’s Day Breakfast Friday 30th August:
The time has come to celebrate our dads with a delicious breakfast...if you can please make sure that you have sent your RSVP to your class rep for Friday's breakfast...it begins at 7am!

Meelup Free Dress:
On Friday 30th August all students in Meelup can come in free dress for the day as they have won the token count for the first 5 weeks of term. We will be doing sport in the afternoon so please encourage suitably active clothes.

Our Learning:
Last week in Maths we were learning about how to find the Volume of a shape. Using the formula of length x width x height. Below are some photos of the students working together to create different prisms with the volume of 48 cubic centimetres.

In literacy we are focusing on informative writing specifically information reports. Below is a photo from our wall where students had too much up the subheadings with what is required under those subheadings.

Homework:
For those students that are still struggling to understand what the activities for spelling are, there is a success criteria on their Onenote.
