Good
afternoon everyone,
After
the first week of the AFL season, it looked fantastic for the boys in purple.
Great win to start the season, let’s hope this continues throughout the coming
weeks.
Harmony
Day – Friday 29th March
The
children will be participating in a series of activities throughout the whole
day that celebrate the importance of living in harmony with many different
cultures.
After
the prayer Liturgy in the morning, the students will move between classes in
their groups to complete 3 different activities.
After this there will be a shared recess between the Year Four classes. So we are asking for all students in Year 5 to bring a plate for a shared morning tea on this day.
We would like to girls to bring a plate of savoury food and boys to bring a plate of sweet food to share. If you are able to make this reflective of your families culture that would be great!
